We bumped into each other while walking through a small village deep in the jungle near Cape Coast. I couldn’t speak much Twi and his English was limited, but we attempted a conversation. I was surprised to see that he was wearing a thick colonial era khaki uniform, despite it being the hottest time of year and 100% humidity. I asked what he did for a living and he described himself as a ‘jungle gardener’
