This policy relates to the website www.bengoodman.co.uk and is managed by the artist Ben Goodman.

Contact form

When visitors use the contact form on this site I collect the data which has been entered on the form, like you would with any other email. If you would like your email(s) deleted from my inbox then please contact me.

User account

If you set up an ‘account’ on my website then your data will be stored on the server I use and will never be shared with anyone else or used for any other purpose. You have the right to delete your account whenever you like and can ask for all of your stored data to be deleted.

Inactive accounts will be automatically deleted after 3 months.

Email newsletter

My newsletter is managed by Mailchimp and if you sign up for my newsletter, all your data is stored with them.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Who we share your data with

Payments made though my website are managed and processed by Stripe. Your personal data and card details will be shared with them in order to fulfill your purchase.

How long we retain your data

Inactive account will be deleted after 3 months.

Data from pending orders, failed orders, cancelled orders will be kept for 1 day.

Data from completed orders will be kept for 6 months.

Stripe data will be kept for 1 day.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

I do not actively send your data anywhere. But if you make a payment on my website then your data will be sent to WooCommerce and Strip as part of the payment procedure.
